The content of this website is provided for general information about our work. We take care to keep it accurate, but specifications, finishes and lead times may change, and nothing on this website forms an offer or a binding quotation. Photographs show previous commissions and are illustrative; every door is made to order and will differ.
All content on this site, including images, text and design, belongs to us or is used with permission. You may not reproduce it without our written consent.
Any figure given before a site survey is an estimate. A firm quotation is issued in writing after survey and is valid for the period stated on it. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing and receive any deposit due.
Because every item is manufactured to your specification, your approval of the drawings is the point at which the design is fixed. Changes requested after that point may affect price and lead time, and may not be possible once fabrication has begun.
Payment terms, including any deposit and the balance due, are set out in your quotation. Goods remain our property until payment has been received in full.
Lead times given are estimates and run from the date drawings are approved. We will agree installation dates with you in advance. You are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the site, and for ensuring that openings and surrounding building works are ready as agreed at survey. Delays or additional visits caused by site readiness may be chargeable.
Goods made to your specification are exempt from the usual right to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013. If you wish to cancel after your order is confirmed, we may charge for work already carried out and materials already committed. This does not affect your rights where goods are faulty or not as described.
We guarantee our workmanship for the period stated in your quotation. The guarantee does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidental damage, alteration by others, or a failure to carry out reasonable maintenance, including the periodic cleaning and lubrication we advise on handover. Nothing here affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability in connection with an order is limited to the price paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.
If something is not right, contact us and we will put it right wherever we can. Please raise any concern with us first so that we have the opportunity to resolve it.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
